Course Information

Understanding the importance of training needs analysis in organisational development is crucial for individuals involved in training, human resources, or organisational enhancement. This understanding allows management to collaboratively agree upon and implement specific training initiatives. Acknowledging that training and development are investments in the organisation's human capital, it becomes essential to assess the return on investment for these efforts. This programme aims to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge to proficiently analyse training needs and coordinate training programmes that align with organisational goals.

This programme is designed for human resource personnel, administrative staff, training coordinators and individuals who are engaged in employee development and training.

Course Trainer: LC Ong

Ms Ong, a freelance corporate trainer and entrepreneur, has over 20 years of experience in training and development. 

She started as a mortgage executive at a bank, developing skills in sales and customer service, before moving to a training role at an association. There, she specialised in people management, training management, marketing, sales, and customer service. During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, she introduced e-learning and implemented a comprehensive learning management system.

After 18 years with the company, Ms Ong moved to a management role at a higher learning institution, overseeing corporate training, professional education, certification programmes, and staff development. She also collaborated with external agencies and partners on special projects.

Ms Ong is a certified HRD Corp trainer and a Certified Master Trainer for Educator @ Virtual Learning Environment, accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. She holds a bachelor's degree in international relations, which has honed her problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
