Course Trainer: Mr Andrew Anthony

Mr Andrew Anthony has over 35 years of experience in Safety and Health. He has worked in various corporate organizations, creating a safe and healthy environment. Mr Andrew is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) by TEAMCOACH International and holds a Professional Trainer Certification from the UK.

Mr Andrew has been appointed as a member of the board of directors of NIOSH Malaysia and is also a certified trainer with DOSH, NIOSH, and HRDCorp. He has appeared on numerous talk shows, including Astro, Bernama, TV2, TraxFM, and Rangkaian Nasional, to promote safety. His extensive experience in safety has led to invitations to promote safety in countries such as the UAE, Sudan, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Currently employed by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, he conducts a series of lectures on safety and health.

Mr Andrew has presented at many international conferences promoting safety and health, including the recently concluded Forum in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical held at the Mandarin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. He has also served as the moderator for several National Conferences on Occupational Safety and Health organised by NIOSH. He was invited as a speaker for the National OSH Conference 2022: Progressing From Pandemic, Building Resilience in Occupational Safety and Health organized by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Malaysian Society of Occupational Health Doctors. Mr. Andrew has created many safety handbooks and manuals for various organisations and has trained numerous government agencies.

Additionally, Mr Andrew is appointed to the editorial board of the Journal of Occupational Safety and Health and is an OHSMS ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor. He received the Petronas Merit Award in 2000 and the Gold Award for the MOSPHA Most Influential People Award 2023. He has also collaborated with the Information Ministry of Malaysia to promote OSH in schools, including SMK St. Mary, Kuala Lumpur. He is also the Lead Auditor to promote OSH in schools.
